Why this forum

Many health innovations are developed and assessed in controlled or hospital settings. Whether they succeed in routine care depends on community acceptance, frontline usability, referral pathways, connectivity and data quality.

The Maharashtra Community Health Living Lab in Alibag, Raigad District, is the field implementation platform of the Maharashtra Impact & Innovation Hub. It places solutions inside an existing community-health system, where they can be deployed, observed, refined and validated alongside frontline health workers and real care pathways.

The forum is designed not as a conventional conference, but as a solution-oriented working session where industry perspectives meet on-ground healthcare realities.

An innovation should not be judged only by whether it works technically, but also by whether it works in practice.

Workshop overview

Two days that move from discussing healthcare challenges to identifying concrete opportunities the Hub can support through validation, research, evidence generation and pathways toward adoption.

Innovation Stall and real-world evidence study

Startups and MedTech innovators can book a curated stall in the MedTech Device Demonstration and Innovation Exchange. This is not a conventional exhibition: each innovation is examined through the lens of real-world healthcare delivery.

What to show at the stall
  • The problem your innovation addresses.
  • How the product is used, and by whom.
  • Where it fits within the care pathway.
  • Assumptions still to be tested under Indian primary-care or last-mile conditions.

Real-world evidence study, up to 100 participants

Every startup booking a stall submits one study proposal: what real-world evidence study it would run, and what it expects to achieve. One proposal is selected to conduct the study with up to 100 participants in the Living Lab ecosystem, free of cost.
